A beautifully proportioned Edwardian solid mahogany drop-leaf side table, dating from the early 20th century and featuring elegant bamboo-turned legs, an original working drawer with lock and key, and a wonderfully practical space-saving design.
Crafted from solid mahogany throughout, the table displays a rich, warm colour with a lovely natural grain that has developed an attractive patina over the years. Its slender turned legs and delicate stretchers create a refined appearance while maintaining excellent stability.
The two hinged drop leaves allow the table to be used in several different ways. When folded, it occupies very little floor space, making it an ideal choice for smaller rooms, hallways, apartments or occasional use. The original lock is fully working and is supplied with its key.
