Beautiful Art Deco walnut veneered sideboard dating from the circa 1930s period.
An exceptionally decorative and very well-designed piece, featuring stunning figured walnut veneers beautifully contrasted with elegant rosewood banding and edging throughout. The beautifully figured rosewood veneered top, softly rounded corners and rich colour tones give the sideboard a wonderfully refined Art Deco appearance.
The sideboard offers an excellent amount of practical storage. The central section features a spacious cupboard fitted with an internal shelf behind a pair of beautifully figured doors. Each side cupboard contains two drawers above a pull-out divided storage compartment, making it ideal for cutlery, tableware or household accessories.
This is a particularly stylish piece with excellent proportions and outstanding veneer patterns throughout. The contrast between the warm figured walnut veneers and the richly figured rosewood top, together with the elegant rosewood banding, creates a luxurious and sophisticated Art Deco appearance.
Raised on elegant square supports, the sideboard has a light and architectural feel while still offering very useful storage space.

Structurally solid throughout with no loose joints. The cabinet has been professionally cleaned and traditionally hand polished in our workshop, and all doors, drawers and locks operate smoothly as intended.
