William IV Rosewood Centre Table – Exceptional Patina, Bold Grain & Lion-Paw Base
£1650.00
This outstanding William IV rosewood centre table is an impressive and highly decorative early 19th-century piece, crafted with exceptional skill and presence.
The circular top is fully veneered in beautifully figured rosewood, showcasing dramatic, swirling grain patterns and a deep, glowing patina that only true antique rosewood can offer.
The table stands on a sculptural, boldly carved pedestal base, flowing into three powerful lion-paw feet. These clawed feet — rich in detail and beautifully shaped — are a classic hallmark of the William IV period, giving the piece a strong, confident stance.
The top can be removed (as shown in the photos), making the table easier to transport or store. The pedestal and base exhibit a unique shell-like carved motif, adding both movement and elegance to the overall form.
This table makes a superb centrepiece for a living room, hallway, library, or an elegant dining nook.
Rare, luxurious, and visually commanding.
